WOUNDING POLICY
We have a strict wounding policy:
If you are unfortunate in wounding an animal (draw blood) with any weapon or species, we will make every attempt to recover your animal. HOWEVER, if we are unable to do so, your hunt is TERMINATED.
RULES
- Any hunter born on or after January 1, 1949 must have completed an approved hunter education course and must carry a valid hunter safety certificate with them unless it has been verified by the CDOW.
- You must be at least 12 years of age and meet hunter education requirements to obtain a hunting license.
- Application deadline is April 6, 2010.
- A legal bull elk must have 4 points or more on one antler or a 5-inch brow tine.
LICENSES
- Mule deer licenses must be applied for by April 6 (unless landowner voucher is utilized)
- First and fourth season elk licenses must be applied for by April 6.
- Most cow elk licenses must be applied for by April 6, with the exception of left over licenses on a first come, first serve basis in early August.
SEASON DATES
- Archery - Aug. 28 - Sept. 26 (Archery hunts will be scheduled as needed)
- Muzzleloader - Sept. 11 - 19
1st Rifle - Oct. 16 - 20 (elk only)
2nd Rifle - Oct. 23 - 27 (combination deer and elk)
3rd Rifle - Nov. 6-10 (combination deer and elk)
4th Rifle - Nov. 17 - 21 (elk only) Limited deer licenses available.
Cow elk - Starting around Nov. 20and continuing to the end of December.
All guided archery and rifle hunts are 5 full days.
Our hunts usually begin on Saturday with the exception of the 4th rifle season, which opens on Wednesday, Nov. 17.
Archery hunts dates will be tailored, depending on scheduling needs.
DEPOSITS
A 50% deposit is required at booking to confirm hunt. the balance is due upon arrival prior to hunt. Deposits are non-refundable but, can be transferred to another date or hunter.
